Exhibition “Art and Heritage”
The commencement of the new year ushers in a multitude of traditions, cultural practices, and the nostalgic aroma of enduring habits that have been woven into the fabric of our daily existence. With time, we sense the profound, indelible DNA of culture coursing through us as part of the diaspora experience, and we hold it dear with deep admiration.
The purpose behind this January exhibition is explicitly manifested through the invitation extended to two active artists in Korea. Park Juho specializes in utilizing rice as his artistic medium, while Yoon Man-sik personally handcrafts masks for the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage performance of Bongsam Talchum, breathing life into the characters during their stage presence.
