This group exhibition aims to present a part of the Serbian contemporary art scene at the intersection of generations, styles, and techniques. The symbolism of finding a way is depicted in several aspects;

• We want to emphasize the thorny path from the process of creating works to the final destination — the audience in Washington and the importance of international exchange of ideas and global visibility. We are witnessing a new redistribution of world art centers, where the old European continent is getting strong competition from the East. Do the laws of the globalization of society as a whole bring about the globalization of ideas in the field of art, and thus a monopoly?
• Universal questions, how to stand out in a countless environment of large production and reduced visibility, although at first glance new technologies bring a multitude of new channels. All nine artists, through an original style, more or less known on the international scene, decided and built their expression, different from the strong Yugoslav school of painting that dominated in the second half of the twentieth century, creating a recognizable framework for the further development of free, contemporary artistic thought in Serbia.
• Cultural diplomacy in action has a strong influence on the formation of opinions and conveying the message, if the right way of communication is found in the presentation of one segment of culture — in this case, contemporary fine arts.
