Perspectives on Preservation is a refresh of Friends of Princeton Open Space’s beloved “Give Thanks for Nature” annual photo contest.

To encourage people to spend more time outdoors enjoying nature, we made the photo contest year-round and expanded the geographic location beyond the Billy Johnson Mountain Lakes Nature Preserve.

These changes were well-received as evidenced by the breadth of subjects captured in the photos submitted to the Perspectives on Preservation 2023 photo contest. In May, the top three contest winners were announced and awarded prizes courtesy of our photo contest sponsor, REI Co-op Princeton.

The exhibition runs through Sunday, December 3, and includes all of the 2023 photo submissions.
