Keyahna Marks aka KIKIISUN is a self-taught artist born in Queens in 1999 and raised in Long Island NY. She paints vibrant surrealistic compelling characters with psychedelic-like backgrounds. Her use of color is an important aspect of her creative process. “My paintings take on unconventional realism with a play of abstraction and expressionism. What interests me the most is how colors interact and how they can play a big part in the overall mood. Along with people and how culture and their environment influence the perception of the world and themselves through idiosyncratic backgrounds I create in my paintings.”
