Waste To Wonder Free Art Exhibit

“Waste To Wonder” free art exhibit highlighting creativity, sustainability, and community engagement through art made with recycling.

Join us for the upcoming “Waste To Wonder” free art exhibit highlighting creativity, sustainability, and community engagement through art made from recycled materials.

Max Szadek is a self-taught artist passionate about using sculpture as a medium to spark conversation around crucial societal issues. His latest work is inspired by the troubling narrative surrounding Jeffrey Epstein. Max has created 11 sculptures of Little Red Riding Hood — representing the Jeffrey Epstein survivors at the Pam Bondi hearing — and one wolf, made from everyday items such as soup containers, grocery bags, and detergent bottles. This juxtaposition of innocence and the wolf’s predatory nature serves as a powerful metaphor for broader themes of exploitation and resilience. Also on display will be several of his nursery rhyme-themed sculptures, including the Princess Frogs and Little Bo Peep’s Lost Sheep.

Additionally, the event will feature interactive storytelling sessions, hands-on art demonstrations, and discussions on vital themes such as trauma and empowerment, led by artists and authors, including comic book upcycling jewelry designer Catherine Schuller (“Power Pieces”) and bestselling author Sharan Wolf.
