HSA Media & Design Mid-Year Exhibition
A mid-year exhibition showcasing student work-in-progress from the Media & Design (MaD) Department at Harlem School of the Arts. The exhibition presents completed foundation-level works alongside evolving projects — illustration, animation, film, mural studies, and visual storytelling — offering families and community members a window into student process, experimentation, and growth.
This exhibition marks a key moment in the academic year, when students are actively developing skills and ideas that will culminate in final portfolios and end-of-year showcases. Presenting work at this stage reinforces that the process is central to artistic growth. The event also coincides with the first iteration of the MaD Swag Boutique, highlighting Media & Design as both a creative and entrepreneurial discipline.
