“Welcome Home” — A Black History Month Art Exhibition Reception
Join us for “Welcome Home,” a vibrant Black History Month art bash celebrating culture and creativity in person!
The reception will serve as our Black History Month closing celebration. We will host an artist talk and curatorial walkthrough to explore how the idea of “home” moves through the African diaspora. The discussion will include educational context around redlining, gentrification, and slavery, connecting these histories to the resilience and creativity that define Black cultural life today. Even in the face of displacement, Black communities continue to find ways to gather, teach, and celebrate wherever we are.
There will be food and refreshments for the attending guests, accompanied by musical entertainment and a networking hour.
Time: 6:00 pm EST
