City of Water Day: Marine Park Ecology Tour

When: July 13, 2024

The Natural Areas Conservancy (NAC) will host a guided walk on the Red and Blue Trail at Marine Park as part of City of Water Day and the Jamaica Bay Festival. During this hike, we will explore the trail and learn about our local waterfront. Attendees will learn about sustainable trail building, ethnobotany-related plant ID, wetland ecology, and the importance of a resilient shared waterfront. If you are attending, please fill out this volunteer waiver.

All ages are welcome. Attendees under 18 will need to be accompanied by an adult.

Location: Marine Park — Seba Playground (Seba Ave & Gerritsen Ave, BK, NY 11229)
