It is the first Peanuts film in 35 years and the first to be made with computer animation. The film features the voices of Noah Schnapp, Bill Melendez, Hadley Belle Miller, and Kristin Chenoweth, among others. The film was directed by Steve Martino and written by Craig Schulz, Bryan Schulz, and Cornelius Uliano, who are the son, grandson, and nephew of Charles Schulz, respectively.
