This concert is a re-creation of an idea proposed and carried out by Professor Hlávková in a series of concerts in Prague before her untimely death in a random shooting at Charles University in 2023 that resulted in many deaths and injuries.
Performed by sopranos Jennifer Zetlan, Alice Teysser, Marisa Karchin, and members of the Washington Square Ensemble: Curtis Macomber, violin, Chris Gross, cello, and Steven Beck, piano, conducted by Tengku Irfan
This event is organized with support from the DvoЕ™ák American Heritage Association and the Bohemian Benevolent and Literary Association.
