Webinar “Checking In on Behavior: 5 Ways to Improve Student Outcomes with Behavior Supports”

Research shows that disproportionality in exclusionary discipline represents one of the most significant problems in education. As part of a Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS), these Tier 1 practices set the foundation for the entire system and focus on setting clear expectations for behaviors and implementing procedures and practices for teaching the emotional and social skills needed for positive behavior. Join this edLeader Panel to learn five significant ways to improve student outcomes with behavior supports including Behavior-Specific Praise, Visual Aids, Positive Home Contact, Taking a Break, and Social Contract.

We’ll also share how to:

  • Streamline and unify your behavior reporting
  • Create a shared understanding of incident data
  • Implement behavior-specific praise and report on its impact

This edLeader Panel will be of interest to K-12 teachers and school and district leaders. There will be time for questions at the end of the presentation.
