As a qualitative method, interviewing can generate wonderfully rich and nuanced data, but it requires considerable social, listening, and questioning skills. This introductory webinar is designed to help participants develop awareness of some of the best-practice techniques involved. We will provide a grounding in the principles of semi-structured and in-depth interviewing to help participants plan their interview structure and approach. The session will also briefly cover relevant issues around recording, transcription, and analysis.
