Engineering Webinar “Decarbonised Steam”

Hosted by Projex Solutions Ltd and delivered by Spirax Sarco UK Ltd, this is the final in a series of eight CPD lectures being held weekly over two months, covering the applications of “steam” in current industrial uses.

This series is being run in partnership with the University of Huddersfield and synchronizes with this year’s engineering undergraduate intake.

• This lecture looks at how steam CAN and WILL be generated sustainably, without reliance on carbon-heavy fuels very shortly
• The solutions/technologies involved that will deliver this; how the solutions can be integrated into the existing infrastructure on site
• Why the first steps in a move towards a decarbonized steam network should be optimizing the existing steam network today — in preparation for green steam tomorrow — is hugely topical and relevant across all sectors at the moment.

The webinar will be hosted on MS Teams. It is FREE to attend and open to all.
Non-members of IMechE are very welcome.
