Webinar “The Art of Effective Documentation”

Published: March 25, 2024; Aithor: Julia Sonrisa

When: April 24, 2024

Documentation is often listed as a top source of stress for direct care professionals providing brain health and disability services. There are a variety of skills associated with becoming effective and efficient in documentation; writing and understanding care plans, documenting service delivery/progress notes, establishing a successful system for completing timely documentation, and many more. This learning presentation will provide direct support professionals with information and guidance that will decrease their stress associated with documentation. Participants will gain a clear understanding of the purpose and importance of effective documentation. They will learn about the “golden thread” of service documentation. Additionally, we will explore example documentation templates and methods for professionals to consider as they create a system that works best for them.
