Join Dr Eva Fragkiadaki, who’ll be sharing the power of connection and self-compassion with MS and Mental Health.
As part of Mental Health Awareness week, 11-17 of May, we’ll be hosting a webinar discussing emotions, identity, and mental health with MS.
Up to half of people with MS will experience depression and anxiety, yet their psychological needs are diverse and cannot be addressed by one-size-fits-all interventions.
We’ll be joined by Dr Eva Fragkiadaki, a Senior Lecturer in Counselling Psychology at the University of the West of England and Co-Programme Leader for the Professional Doctorate in Counselling Psychology. She has over fifteen years of experience spanning academic, research, training, and clinical settings. Her research focuses on developing tailored psychological interventions for people with Multiple Sclerosis and advancing inclusive therapy practices through qualitative and mixed methods approaches.
This webinar will highlight the power of connection, shared experience, and self-compassion. You’ll gain an insight into how emotions, self-understanding, and relationships impact the management of MS.
All you need to join in is a laptop/tablet/phone/computer with a stable internet connection to use Zoom, the video meeting software that we use.
Before the event, you’ll receive emails from the LivingWell team and Eventbrite, which will have the link to the webinar. You can follow this link when the webinar is due to start. Alternatively, you can access it through your Eventbrite account.
