Governors Island’s 120 acres of open space are dotted with site-specific public art presented through Governors Island Arts, meant to prompt contemplation and encourage visitors to engage with our varied landscapes and histories.
These monthly guided tours will give you an in-depth look at the Island’s public artworks, including those presented as part of Rest/Play (on view through November 2).
Please note: these tours are held entirely outdoors on Governors Island. Please dress with the weather in mind.
