Join PFGF on Friday evening, August 9th as we participate in National Moth Week.
This free event provides an opportunity to experience the extraordinary world of moths. There are some 160,000 species of moths in the world, with nearly 11,000 in the United States.
Check-in starts at 8:30 PM. PFGF will set up lights and provide attendees with the tools to put out bait to attract moths. Observation begins around 9:15 PM as it gets dark. The event ends at 10:00 PM.
It will be dark when we observe the moths so, please be sure to bring a flashlight to safely move around the area.
All children must be accompanied by an adult.
