A fun and free walking tour, led by librarian Corinne Neary and East Village street photographer Michael Paul.

Join us Wednesday, July 13 at 1 pm for a fun and free walking tour, led by librarian Corinne Neary and East Village street photographer Michael Paul. We’ll meet in front of the Jefferson Market Library at 1 pm.

Within a few short blocks of the Jefferson Market Library, lived eccentric literary salon maven Mabel Dodge Luhan, canonical American novelist Willa Cather, and poet Emma Lazarus. And don’t forget playwright and performer Mae West, who had her own history with our building, when it was a courthouse.

We’ll talk about just a few of the writers that have made the neighborhood famous, and have fun along the way!
