Every year the NYC Department of City Planning celebrates NYC’s 520 miles of waterfront on 5/20. This year, join us in celebrating local efforts to expand and enhance access to and awareness of unique waterfront spaces, experiences, and opportunities along NYC’s waterfront!
Join the Harlem River Working Group, the NYC Department of Transportation, and the NYC Department of City Planning for a walking tour of sections of the current and future Harlem River Greenway. The tour will offer stunning views of the High Bridge, the Harlem River Valley, and Roberto Clemente State Park. It will also illustrate obstacles to developing a continuous greenway that the City and the Harlem River Working Group will work together to address. We will be joined by community advocates who will discuss how this section can reach its full potential as part of the Bronx Harlem River Greenway Plan and add to NYC’s ever-expanding greenway network.
