Built-in 1832 as a parsonage for the local First Presbyterian Church, it is the home where President Grover Cleveland was born. Brightly decorated with old-fashioned evergreen festoons, fruits, ribbons, rose hips, and sprigs of berries. Decorations will remain up through Sunday, January 8th, 2023.
Tours are by reservation only. Always fee-free, donations welcome. Please register one of three ways; at our Eventbrite page, via email at visitgcb@dep.nj.gov, or call, 973-226-0001 and leaving a message.
Guides will be stationed in each of the first-floor rooms while visitors explore the family life of a young future president and his eight siblings. One gallery focuses on the political career of President Cleveland. Museum gift shop included. Visitors will be offered a free Victorian-Era holiday snack to take home.
