Come on a hike on the Fountain trails and learn about Shirley Chisholm’s legacy as we walk!

Join park educators on a hike commemorating Shirley Chisholm for Black History Month! Come learn about her life and legacy as you hike the Fountain trails. This program is on Saturday, February 7th, from 10am to 12pm and will be approximately 2 miles long, on gravel and paved trails.

This program is free! All ages are welcome. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

We will meet at the Fountain side parking lot. Park educators will be at the picnic tables on the gravel patio by the blue park office building. Please wear comfortable shoes for gravel trails, dress for the weather, and bring water!
