Featuring Ana Karneza and Arianna Gayle, both graduates of NYU Abu Dhabi and of the Juilliard MFA program, in a unique two-character play written for them to perform!

Miriam, a writer on the verge of her 34th birthday, is stuck. She isn’t going anywhere, with her novel or her life. That is, until Varenka arrives. As Miriam confronts her painful history, she frees herself from narratives of the past and begins writing her future. Varenka by Miriam Leeds explores the power of the imagination and the liberty that comes from radical self-acceptance.
