Dharma teaching + meditation w/ N. L. Drolma. Take a break from screen insanity (say bye to FOMO) and make friends with yourself profoundly.

Take a break from screen insanity (say bye to FOMO) and make friends with yourself profoundly. Meditation is a way of being — alert, relaxed, and in tune with how things really are. We “sit” to quiet the mind and come home to peace and clarity (an all-encompassing awareness which is presently obscured by our breakneck speed and busyness).

Meditation instruction and practice are interlaced with written commentary by renowned Tibetan Buddhist masters. There’s always an opportunity for Q & A.

Ngawang Lodrö Drolma trained for umpteen years under some of the most revered Tibetan Buddhist masters of our time.* But her first guru was the beloved children’s book author/illustrator Dr Seuss, whose clever “Cat in the Hat” not only taught her to read, but also how not to be bored indoors alone on a rainy day.

Our sanctuary, Khachod Dechen Ling (of the Khachod Dechenling Foundation), is a hidden jewel located in the West Village.

The dharma is priceless and not a commodity for sale. Offerings are a Buddhist tradition, so we ask that you kindly contribute whatever your means allow in support of the teachings and our sacred space. No one is turned away for lack of funds. First class is complimentary.
