iFixit + Back Market Hands On Soldering Workshop

Ever wanted to learn how to solder? Now’s your chance! Join us at Back Market’s NYC pop-up for a hands-on soldering workshop using iFixit’s brand new FixHub Smart Soldering Iron.

Bring a friend and we’ll teach you the basics — no experience needed. Our crew from iFixit and Fixer’s Collective will show you the ropes and help you practice on real components. By the end of the night, you’ll have a new skill that’ll help you fix all kinds of stuff.

What’s included:

• Q&A with/ iFixit’s CEO Kyle Wiens (From 5:30 P.M. to 6:15 P.M.)
• Hands-on instruction with iFixit’s Smart Soldering Iron (Starts at 6:30 P.M.)
• Practice materials to learn from
• Expert tips from experienced repair folks
• All tools and equipment

What to bring:

• A friend (or come solo!)
• Something broken you want to try fixing (optional)
• Limited to 40 people so we can actually help everyone. Grab your spot!
