Take part in our swing dance instruction followed by a performance by The Hot Toddies Jazz Band, a hot jazz and swing band from NYC. They have an eclectic mix of styles perfect for dancing, lindy hop, and good times!

Founded just before the pandemic, the band has become one of the top swing bands on the scene in NYC, the birthplace of the dance. They have toured extensively across the U.S. and performed at renowned venues such as Lincoln Center for Summer for the City (formerly Midsummer Night Swing), The Blue Note Jazz Club, and The Whitney Museum, among others. Led by noted composer/producer/drummer Patrick Soluri (Prohibition Productions), the band has featured some of today’s top musicians in the swing & trad jazz worlds, including Queen Esther, Hannah Gill, and Alphonso Horne, just to name a few.

The band’s recordings have topped the US jazz charts, playing on radio stations nationwide off their two albums and EP, which are available on all streaming platforms, CD, cassette, and vinyl.

This program is funded by the NYS Assembly Queens Delegation
