As “engineers,” the word “engine” is in the name. We may operate engines, yet most folks don’t have direct experience working on them or understanding how they work. Even engineers often call an ’expert’. Attend this hands-on workshop to ward off any engine-related imposter syndrome. Participants will disassemble and identify the basic components of a small engine, review how combustion engines work, and discuss ways to continue to empower our confidence and curiosity in everyday life.

Cary Kaczowka is currently a Program Manager at Raytheon Technologies. She is a USCG-credentialed sailor. Originally from Seekonk, Massachusetts, and a graduate of Bishop Feehan High School, she began her engineering journey at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
