Introducing We Speak NYC, an Emmy Award-winning television series designed to facilitate English language practice. Each episode revolves around everyday scenarios, such as medical visits or parent-teacher interactions, featuring characters who speak deliberately and clearly.

Engage in Intermediate and Advanced Level Conversation Classes for English Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL):

This program is tailored for adult learners aged 16 and older (not in High School). Participants will have the unique opportunity to enhance their English language skills by watching We Speak NYC videos and engaging in discussions with fellow adults from diverse backgrounds.

Join us at the Library to connect with others who, like you, are committed to practicing and improving their English language abilities.

This program is most beneficial for individuals with a basic understanding of English who are seeking a platform to reinforce their language proficiency.

We Speak NYC is a collaborative initiative by the New York City Mayor’s Office of Adult Education and the City University of New York. Join us in this interactive learning experience and embark on a journey to enhance your English communication skills.
