Trinity Laban Dance Workshop and Audition

We will be in New York City to hold workshops and auditions for those looking to apply for our BA (Hons) in Contemporary Dance or our MA/MFA Dance Performance. We will also be providing information about all of our other Postgraduate programmes and warmly welcome you to attend if you are interested in hearing about all of the programmes on offer at Trinity Laban. The audition/workshop will be delivered by two members of our Faculty of Dance: Daniel Squire and Gary Lambert.

We will be holding two sessions throughout the day:

• The morning session will focus on a practical audition/workshop for the MA/MFA Dance Performance. You only need to register for one session. If you plan on applying to study with us at Trinity Laban in London, select ’Audition’ if you would just like to attend the workshop to act as a taster of the type of training we offer, select ’Workshop’. This session will run from 10:00 am to 15:45 including a lunch break.
• The afternoon session will focus on a practical audition/workshop for those who have applied for or are interested in our BA (Hons) Contemporary Dance. You only need to register for one session. If you plan on applying to study with us at Trinity Laban in London, select ’Audition’ if you would just like to attend the workshop to act as a taster of the type of training we offer, select ’Workshop’. This session will run from 15:00 — 19:00.

We will also hold an Information Session between 15:00 and 15:45 for all attendees, which will provide information about all of the programmes in the Faculty of Dance at Trinity Laban.

Whilst this audition/workshop event will provide 2023 applicants with the chance to audition with our world-renowned faculty in person, we also warmly welcome those who may be considering studying at Trinity Laban in 2024, 2025 and beyond. This will provide you with the chance to take a free workshop and get a taste of the training we offer at Trinity Laban.

Who is this event for?

This event is for prospective applicants/students who are looking to join one of the following programmes in 2023 or beyond:

• BA (Hons) Contemporary Dance
• BA (Hons) Contemporary Dance with Foundation Year
• MA/MFA Dance Performance

Those who want to audition must submit an application via UCAS Conservatoires prior to the event. Our Admissions team will be in touch to help you with this.

Those who want to find out more about these and our other programmes and apply for future years are invited to attend the workshop only but will not be considered for an audition.

You will receive further information and a full schedule closer to the audition date.
