Join teaching artist Ross Carvill for a free graphic novel workshop at the library! No drawing experience required!

Graphic novels are powerful ways of communicating; they transcend language and can be understood by people from anywhere in the world! They can be used to tell stories, teach lessons, make people life and make people cry! They can act as diaries, moments in time, or they can show times and worlds beyond the ones we live in! Together, we will explore character building, story, and world building, followed by applying all this to a graphic novel.

Time: 3:00 pm EST
