Join us for an afternoon of authentic practice and professional reconnection. This event features a showcase of inquiry-based methods.

On April 18, join us at Medgar Evers College for a practitioner-focused space that prioritizes real classroom artifacts and professional dialogue. This event stems from Summer Lab 2025, sponsored in part by the Library of Congress TPS program. You will hear directly from teachers who have spent a year implementing and refining inquiry-based units grounded in primary sources.

Highlights include:

• Practitioner Presentations: See real classroom artifacts and inquiry-based units.
• Honest Reflections: Teachers share their instructional shifts, what they adjusted, and the impact on student learning.
• Concrete Tools: Gain access to sample units and lesson structures you can use in your own classroom or program.

Featured Workshop: Following the showcase, Dr. Maureen Connolly will lead a 90-minute CTLE workshop: "Finding Balance: Self-Care for Educators.“This interactive session offers practical, concrete tools for educator sustainability and well-being, focusing on the vital link between personal health and school culture.
