Join us for an afternoon of passion and dance in an Argentine Tango beginner’s class led by instructor and DJ María José Sosa.
The afternoon begins with traditional Argentine empanadas, beverages, and music in a relaxed social setting. At 4:00 PM, the beginner’s tango class will start.
Participants are also welcome to continue the experience at the Milonga social dance from 6:00–8:00 PM, organized by Arlene Dávila, NYU Professor and Founding Director of the Latinx Project, with continued instruction by María José. A separate registration is required for the milonga, though it is also free and open to the public.
