For November, the group discusses the first in Rin Chupeco’s debut adult fantasy duology, Silver Under Nightfall. Full of court intrigue, queer romance, and terrifying monsters—this epic fantasy follows Remy Pendergast, an elite bounty hunter of rogue vampires, rumored half-vampire himself, and an outcast among his fellow Reapers. When a terrifying new breed of vampire is sighted, Remy is faced with a choice he’s certain he’ll regret: join the shockingly warmhearted vampire heiress and her fiancé, the infuriatingly arrogant vampire lord, on a journey to uncover the truth behind the virus plaguing the kingdom; yet, as the three face dangerous hardships that lead to fond, and complicated, feelings, Remy must decide where his loyalties lie: with his father and the kingdom he’s been trained all his life to defend or the vampires who might just be the death of him.
