Join Flatbush Library’s monthly book club for a chance to meet your neighbors and dive into some great books. We read a variety of nonfiction and contemporary fiction.

For our August meeting, we’ll be reading Abolish Rent by Tracy Rosenthal and Leonardo Vilchis. From two co-founders of the largest tenants union in the country, this deeply reported account of the resurgent tenant movement centers on poor and working-class people who are fighting back, staying put, and remaking their city in the process.

Register for updates and reminders about our book club!

Limited copies of the book will be available to pick up at the library’s front desk. All are welcome.

Time: 6:15 pm EDT
