The Bronx is Reading Presents: Educator Social

Published: May 12, 2023; Aithor: Julia Sonrisa

When: May 19, 2023

The Bronx is Reading is a social good venture that celebrates literacy, and fosters a love of reading among, children, teens, and adults, through our multifaceted initiatives including the annual Bronx Book Festival — the largest literary event uptown, TBIR Literacy Program that brings free books and authors to low-income schools, a monthly book club, and our online and pop-up bookstore, as well as the Bronx Poet Laureate position. We seek to empower the next generation of readers and writers.

Join The Bronx is Reading for our inaugural educator night where we will discuss ways for educators to work with us and to learn more about our ambassador program for Artist Visits. Light bites and free drinks are included as well as giveaways and book buzzes from our publisher partner, Lee & Low Books.

Location: 461 West 126th Street, New York, NY 10027, United States
