Ope! Taylor Kay Phillips’ “A Guide to Midwestern Conversation” is bringing the Midwestern convo to the Big Apple. Whether you’re a midwestern transplant craving a little taste of heartland home, a born and bred coastie who likes to feel important at Big City book launch events, or anyone in between — this night has something for you. Come hang out at the KGB Red Room to compare cornhole techniques, learn or teach about the wonders of the Garage Fridge, or ask your burning questions about what your Midwestern neighbor means when she calls your decor “a little different” (She hates it. She hates it so much.)

We’ll have a cash bar, books being sold by the wonderful P&T Knitwear, a book signing by TKP, a Q+A maybe, some more initials just BC, and general “Gosh Dang! Taylor wrote a book! ” revelry. It’ll be a hoot. You betcha.

You can come even if you don’t RSVP but we’re just trying to get an idea of who’s coming so that we can get enough books!

Books from P&T Knitwear!!
