For April, we will read the witty and poignant novel, Lillian Boxfish Takes a Walk by Kathleen Rooney.
Stroll through 1980s Manhattan as the main character reflects on her long and eventful life. Based on the real-life of Margaret Fishback, poet and ad-writing phenom of the 1930s. Elegantly written, the novel is a love letter to city life in all its guts and grandeur.
