Hosted by Greenlight’s designer Min, our all-ages Graphic Lit Book Group meets monthly to read and discuss ambitious works that attempt to capture things beyond words. For its inaugural meeting, the group will read and discuss Belonging: A German Reckons with History and Home by Nora Krug. Belonging is an archive, a conversation, a family history, and a moral investigation. Krug takes on the challenge of putting herself into context, and the consequences of doing so. This powerful memoir pushes the medium and defies expectation, the perfect set-up for reading in a genre that resists boundaries and definitions.
