There is nothing like returning to the world of a beloved series! We are thrilled to host a Live & In-Person National Launch for you and your young reader at Books of Wonder — with the one and only Neal Shusterman! The acclaimed Arc of the Scythe series continues with Gleanings: a collection of thrilling stories that span the timeline and captures the immense tapestry of the Scythdom. Storylines continue. Supporting characters’ stories are revealed. And history — both past and future — is revealed!

There are still countless tales of Scythedom to tell. Centuries passed between the Thunderhead cradling humanity and Scythe Goddard trying to turn it upside down. For years humans lived in a world without hunger, disease, or death with Scythes as the living instruments of population control.

Neal Shusterman— along with collaborators David Yoon, Jarrod Shusterman, Sofía Lapuente, Michael H. Payne, Michelle Knowlden, and Joelle Shusterman — returns to the world throughout the timeline of the Arc of a Scythe series. Discover the secrets and histories of characters you’ve followed for three volumes and meet new heroes, new foes, and some figures in between.

What you need to know to join us:

• We recommend RSVPing to attend! RSVPing here guarantees entry to the event if you are among the first 100 registrants. Please make sure to RSVP for your full party, including any and all children.

• Please note that there will only be 100 RSVPs available. Guests who have RSVPed must arrive by 5:50 PM in order to claim their spot. After that time, the reserved seat will become available to walk-up guests.

• If you are not among the first 100 RSVPs, you can still purchase a copy of each book, and join the signing queue to get signed and personalized books! Doors will open for the signing queue around 6:45 PM.

• All attendees over the age of 2 will need to wear a mask while in the store, as per NYC guidelines for live indoor events.

• Remember: if you are not feeling well please do not attend this event!
