Directed by Norman Jewison, “Moonstruck” is a romantic comedy-drama starring Cher as Loretta Castorini, a pragmatic Brooklyn widow engaged to a sweet but dull man (Danny Aiello). When she meets his estranged, passionately volatile younger brother, Ronny (Nicolas Cage), Loretta is swept into a whirlwind of unexpected desire, family drama, and moonlit romance that challenges her cautious view of love.

With its sharp wit, operatic emotions, and enchanting portrayal of Italian-American life, the film explores themes of fate, second chances, and the messy, magical nature of love, culminating in a chaotic yet heartwarming family gathering under the glow of a full moon.
