Screening of the psychological horror-thriller “Resurrection”, followed by a Q&A with the writer-director.

As part of After School Special: The 2022 School of Visual Arts Alumni Film & Animation Festival, we are pleased to present a screening of the psychological horror-thriller Resurrection (2022), followed by a Q&A with the film’s writer-director, SVA alumnus Andrew Semans (BFA 2001 Film and Video). Current SVA student Annie Fleisch (BFA 2023 Film) will moderate the Q&A.

Synopsis: Margaret’s life is in order. She is capable, disciplined, and successful. Everything is under control. That is, until David returns, carrying with him the horrors of Margaret’s past.

The MPAA does not rate resurrection, and some material may be inappropriate for children under 17. Children ages 12 and under will not be admitted.

Doors will open approximately 30 minutes prior to each screening, and guests can enjoy music videos by Kevin Slack (BFA 2008 Film and Video) in the lobby while waiting to enter.
