“House of Games” follows the story of Margaret Ford, a successful psychiatrist and author, who becomes intrigued by the world of con artists after meeting Mike, a charming gambler who owes money to dangerous gangsters. Intending to use her expertise to write about Mike’s world, Margaret instead finds herself drawn into his schemes and the alluring, dangerous game of deception. As she becomes more deeply involved, the lines between reality and illusion blur, and Margaret is forced to confront her own vulnerabilities and desires. She embarks on a dangerous journey, questioning everyone and everything, including her own sanity, as she navigates a world of con men, high-stakes poker, and deadly consequences. With each deception, Margaret’s carefully constructed life unravels, leaving her to face the ultimate gamble: can she master the game before it destroys her?
