Lion is a powerful and moving film based on the true story of Saroo Brierley. As a young boy in India, five-year-old Saroo gets tragically separated from his family after falling asleep on a train that takes him thousands of miles away to Calcutta. Lost and alone, he faces many challenges on the streets before ultimately being adopted by a loving Australian couple.

Years later, haunted by fragmented memories of his past and his family, Saroo sets out on a seemingly impossible quest. With only a handful of clues and the revolutionary technology of Google Earth, he searches tirelessly to find his lost home and reunite with his birth mother.

Lion is a deeply emotional journey exploring themes of family, identity, and the unbreakable bonds of love. It’s a story about loss and hope, showcasing the resilience of the human spirit and the power of never giving up.
