Get ready to celebrate the winter season with our Winter Harvest Festival at Newport Skates! Enjoy traditional food, dance, music, and skate!

Celebrate Indian harvest traditions at Newport Skates with an afternoon of culture, food, and community! Saras"Sun "Kranti honors festivals such as Makar Sankranti, Pongal, and Bihu, bringing warmth and joy to the winter season.

What to Expect

Live cultural performances (12–3 PM): classical and folk dances inspired by Saraswati, harvest traditions, Bihu, and Pongal

Interactive experiences: storytelling, movement, and a fun, participatory dance workshop
Family activities: drawing and creative art experiences
Regional Indian harvest foods: available 12–6 PM

Event Details

The event and performances are free and open to everyone. Guests are welcome to stop by just to watch and participate — ice skating is optional but highly recommended for the full Newport Skates experience.
