Mia Vasquez, an esteemed member of the Brooklyn Public Library’s Jail Services team and a native New Yorker, has struggled to make rent for the past year, in part because the library is overly dependent on non-union, part-time labor. In an attempt to combat precarity, and keep our friend housed, we’re throwing them a good old-fashioned rent party!
