Calling all teens! Join us at the Library on Friday, August 25, for author talks, giveaways, and an afternoon of teen creativity—all free!

The first annual Teen Voices Festival is coming to the Library’s flagship location at 42nd Street and Fifth Avenue.

Plus: Free giveaways including books, tote bags, and snacks—and the announcement of the winners of our Teen Voices magazine contest!

12:30 PM | Doors open, an art exhibit by teens across NYC open for viewing, Bartos Forum, Ground Floor

1–1:45 PM | Stephanie Pacheco, NYC Youth Poet Laureate, Bartos Forum, Ground Floor

1:45–2 PM | Announcement of Teen Voices Magazine Contest winners*, Bartos Forum, Ground Floor

2–3:15 PM | Activities including:

3:15 PM | In Conversation: Authors Torrey Maldonado & Patricia Park, Bartos Forum, Ground Floor

4 PM | Event ends, book giveaway, art exhibit remains open until 4:30 PM, Bartos Forum, Ground Floor
