Published: May 17, 2022; Aithor: Julia Sonrisa

When: May 21, 2022
Where: Exodus Transitional Community

Address: 178 E 124th Street, New York, NY 10035, United States

Artist Kristy McCarthy, members of Chelton Loft, and the East Harlem community are making a mural about mental health awareness, and they need your help! Join us on May 21st for painting, music, mental health resources, free food, and more at The Grace Center at Exodus Transitional Community.

You can help us paint a mural that will be installed in East Harlem! Using a paint-by-numbers plan, Kristy will show you how to fill in the pieces of canvas that make up the mural. In just a few short minutes, you’ll be ready to leave your mark on the neighborhood and contribute to an important community project. All ages and artistic abilities are welcome.

This festival is entirely free to the public thanks to the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.
