Join NYC Parks to help support this annual celebration of Jackie Robinson’s legacy in baseball and America—and in Harlem! Help us welcome community members to Jackie Robinson Park to enjoy recreational activities for all ages, food trucks, live music, and more!

Choose your shift!

Want to roll up your sleeves for a community cleanup? Join the Community Cleanup Shift from 10:00 AM — 12:00 PM to help remove trash and beautify the park, then stay to enjoy the festival once your shift concludes!

Prefer to assist with festival setup and breakdown, help gather participant data, and serve as a friendly face pointing festival participants in the right direction? Choose Event Support Shifts from 11:00 AM — 2:00 PM or from 2:00 PM — 5:00 PM to help welcome community members to the event.

Morning Community Cleanup Shift meets at 145th Street & Bradhurst

Event Support Shifts meet at 148th Street & Bradhurst

Bring with you: Please wear long pants and closed-toe shoes and bring a reusable water bottle. Work gloves will be provided for the Community Cleanup Shift. Lunch will be available for purchase onsite from local food trucks.

Waivers: All volunteers will be asked to complete waivers when they arrive onsite. While we welcome all ages to participate in the festival, we are not able to accommodate participants under the age of 18 as volunteers.

Directions: Take the A/C/B/D train to 145th Street, then walk east 2 blocks on W 145th Street and turn left on Bradhurst Ave. Community Cleanup volunteers will meet at 145th St & Bradhurst. Event Support volunteers will meet at 148th St & Bradhurst. Look for the Volunteer Check-In table.

***Please note, there is no private vehicle access or parking available within the park.***
