Earth Day Celebration featuring The NJ Folk & Bluegrass Festival

The Hoboken Business Alliance invites you to this FREE, family-friendly, outdoor event with fun nature-inspired art activities for all ages, a green artisan market, fitness class demos, face painting, animal encounters with The NJ Snake Man, and much more!
As an exciting new addition, this year will feature the first annual NJ Folk & Bluegrass Music Festival showcasing the area’s most talented musicians!

Music Lineup:
- 11 am — The Dirty Water Dogs — (gospel music done in the bluegrass tradition)
- 1130 am — Hoboken School of Rock — (students of music)
- 12:30 pm — Brendan Hartnett — (singer/guitarist playing traditional folk and original songs)
- 1 pm- Demolition String Band — (a string band, weaving rustic harmonies within the bluegrass tradition)
- 2 pm — ALEOfolk Community Jam — bring your instrument and join them!
- 3 pm — Davey and the Trainwreck — (original music by a few of Hoboken’s Sons celebrating the point where folk became electric)

RainbowFamily — Bird Feeder craft
Girl Scouts — Lantern Fly education
Urban Arts En Plein Air art class (registration closed)
Free Community Art Project — Work with art educator and artist Elizabeth McParland to create an up-cycled project.
Plastic Pollution Totem — This fun community project will utilize laundry detergent jugs and bottle caps to create characters to be stacked and displayed as totem poles.
Textile recycling drive — Bring all of your unwanted clothing and textiles for recycling.

- 11 am — The Studio — Beginner Jazz
- 12 pm — Crossfit Hoboken with Ben — Family session! (adults & children ages 6-12)
- 12 pm- Sage Map Sound Bath Meditation & Susan Tee Chair Yoga (Teen-Seniors)
- 1 pm — Mess Method (Barre)- BYOMat and sneakers are suggested.

- 2 pm — The Fit Club- Strength & cardio circuit using bands and body weight.(Adult) BYO Mat
