Join us for Mencius Spring Arts Fest 2026, a community celebration of Cantonese Opera, Chinese orchestral music, and traditional Chinese musical arts in New York City.
Presented by Mencius Society for the Arts, this special afternoon program brings together singers, musicians, teaching artists, and community performers from the GSS-MSA Canto Opera Program and the EastRiver LES Community Orchestra. Audiences will enjoy a rich selection of Cantonese opera excerpts, vocal performances, folk melodies, and Chinese ensemble music, celebrating the beauty of southern Chinese musical theater and the spirit of community arts.
This event continues the Mencius Society for the Arts’ partnership with Grand Street Settlement to provide lifelong arts learning opportunities and preserve Chinese cultural traditions through performance, education, and community engagement.
Free admission. Donations are welcome and appreciated in support of Mencius Society for the Arts and its community arts programs.
