Solas Studio’s Pin Fest is a celebration of affordable wearable art. Pin Fest ‘22 will feature largely never-before-seen soft enamel pin designs by local and international artists. Featuring dozens of designers and artists largely from the New York City area. Soft enamel pins continue to enjoy incredible popularity as collectibles today but have their roots almost 4,000 years ago in the enameling process of Egypt and fine jewelry work of ancient China. Popularized in the US during the revolutionary war, enamel lapel pins often indicated membership to a specific group, ideology, or participation in fandom.
